Description: This kit allows students to learn about optics through light, lenses and mirrors. They may study reflection and refraction, work with lens fabrication, real and virtual imaging, sphereometry and ray tracing in many novel ways. Edible optics includes Petri dishes and watch glasses for making lenses from Jell-O. These may then be used to experiment with and determine index of refraction, magnification, etc.
