Those Amazing Insects: (Grades
K-2 • 60
minutes) Students
will learn about the major body parts of insects, assemble life cycle
puzzles, and test different insect “mouth
parts” at feeding stations. Insects will be examined, sorted,
and classified according to various attributes. The students will also
work in small groups with
field guides to examine and identify preserved specimens.
