Primarily Bears: (Grades 4K & 5K • 60
minutes)
Students will compare and contrast basic characteristics of the black
bear, the brown bear, and the polar bear. They will compare bear weights,
order the three bears by size, and graph the results. Students will also
participate in hands-on games as they learn the importance of bears’ sense
of smell, what types of habitats they live in, and foods they eat.
