All Sorts of Sorting: (Grades
4K, 5K, & 1• 60
minutes)
Students will describe and sort a variety of items using one or more
attributes
including size, shape, color, pattern, texture, and whether an item sinks
or floats. Working together in small groups, students will sort and classify
pattern blocks, fabric swatches, seashells, buttons, and more.
