It is not too early to plan for next summer. For those of you looking for adventure, how does Alaska or Hawaii sound? Jeff is in the process of deciding which adventure to go on. A trip to either Alaska or Hawaii will encompass 10-14 days. Camping will be the lodging of choice. Hiking to out of the way places and learning the flora and fauna is the purpose of the trip. The cost to either of those destinations is undetermined at this point, however, based on this yearŐs Alaska experience, the cost will probably be between $2,250 and $3,000 (Including transportation, lodging and meals).
If you are interested in one or both of these ecology course adventures, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, or call or write the Center indicating which of the courses you would be interested in and leave us your name, address, and telephone number by October 31. The decision on which course will be taught will be based on the number of people interested in it. Sometime during the latter part of October or November Jeff will convene a meeting of the people interested in those courses. There is no obligation at this time for those who express an interest.
