Workshop Description: The content of the Science Education for Public Understanding Program workshop will focus on environmental issues that involve chemical principles. The course is intended for teachers who have an interest, but not necessarily a strong background, in chemistry. Each teacher will received a kit of teaching materials worth over $550.00. These kits are appropriate for grades 6-9. Twenty teachers will be selected.
