Workshop Description: The course is an intensive introduction to human genetics with emphasis placed on the latest understanding of the role of genetics in human disease and medical diagnosis, a current overview of the human genome project, and the role of genetics in society and education. Applications are invited for science teachers who instruct at all levels - middle school, high school, and college.
