Integrating Mathematics, Science, and Technology in the High School Classroom

Description: For high school math and science teachers. Participants will learn how to use technology such as the TI-82, CBL, and computer probes to collect scientific data and analyze it using graphing calculators. Experiments using everyday materials, which can be conducted in any classroom, will be done. Participants will have the opportunity to preview and use IBMÕs Personal Science Lab, Sensornet, CBL, and VernierÕs new serial interface. Both PC and MAC platforms will be used.
