Sigma Xi Outstanding Science or Mathematics Teacher Award

The CSRA Chapter of Sigma Xi is seeking nominations for outstanding teachers of science/mathematics at the middle school and high school levels. Teachers selected for the award receive a $100 stipend and a plaque honoring their achievement to be presented at the annual Sigma Xi meeting in April/May. Teachers interested in applying for the award need to submit a letter of application, a vita, and three letters of recommendation (at least one from school administrator and one from teaching colleague) to Dr. Jeff Priest, Ruth Patrick Science Education Center, 471 University Parkway, Aiken, SC 29801; (803) 648-6851. Application deadline is Feb. 1, 1996.
