Project Learning Tree
Workshop at the SC State Museum

Wednesday, March 27, 1996
9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pack a lunch (drinks provided) and spend the day at the State Museum for Project Learning Tree (PLT)! PLT , co-sponsored by the State museum and the South Carolina Forestry Commission, is an award-winning environmental education program designed for teachers working with students in pre-K through grade 12. Conducted by natural resource professionals, PLT uses the forest as a “window” into natural and built environments, helping people gain knowledge of the world around them, as well as their place within it. All participants completing this FREE hands-on workshop will receive the 400-page Environmental Activity Guide. Preregistration by mail or fax is required for this free workshop. Registration deadline: March 21, 1996. Call Linda McWhorter, Chief Curator of Education at the State Museum, at (803) 737-4589 for more information and registration.
