Georgia Science Teachers Association
The GSTA will hold their 1996 Convention February 8-10 in Augusta, GA. Pam Graves, NRSMEEP Director, is serving on the planning committee and is coordinating the field trips for the convention. We need volunteers to accompany each field trip. The trips include:
¥ A hands-on workshop hosted by Tony Mills at the Savannah River Ecology lab.
¥ A forest biology workshop at the Natural Resources, Science, Math, and Engineering Education Program.
¥ Activities at the National Science Center located at Fort Gordon.
¥ Planetarium and technologies workshops at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center.
¥ A tour of the Savannah River Site.
¥ Wildlife Management Practices at the Audubon Sanctuary in Beech Island, SC.
