Student Programs 2006
The deadline for teachers to make reservation requests for 2006-2007 has now passed, and once again we have received more requests than we will be able to serve!
The RPSEC staff is currently scheduling programs based upon teachers’ prioritized
requests and availability. Confirmation letters with field trip dates and times
will be mailed to all teachers by Friday, August 4, 2006.
Upon receiving the Confirmation Letter, teachers must accept or decline the
reservation. If there is a scheduling conflict, teachers may request that the
program be rescheduled
for another date or time. Signed confirmations MUST be received by the RPSEC
by Friday, August 25, 2006 or scheduled programs will be cancelled.
Teachers, please indicate if you would like to visit the Science Store during
your visit or if you would like to reserve the use of the lunchroom. Lunch
facilities at the RPSEC can accommodate up to 60 students. The lunchroom or
picnic tables
are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be reserved prior
to your visit.
Once all visits have been confirmed (after September 1st), a request for
rescheduling may result in the assessment of a $25.00 fee. The fee will
be assessed if a
reschedule is the result of failure by the teacher to indicate in-service
/ testing dates
or school holidays on the reservation form, or if the reschedule is for a
reason other than school closure, inclement weather, or other emergency.
There is
no guarantee that the rescheduled program will be your original selection;
however,
the new program will be grade-level appropriate.
Student Programs classes begin on Tuesday, September 5th. We look forward
