Come join us at the Ruth Patrick Science Center (RPSEC) at USC Aiken for a fun filled evening for the whole family as we celebrate the International Year of Astronomy. Activities include planetarium shows (Two Small Pieces Of Glass), and night-sky viewing through telescopes. This event is proudly sponsored by the Astronomy Club of Augusta, USC Aiken, Ruth Patrick Science Education Center and DuPont Planetarium .

Two Small Pieces Of Glass: 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Shows are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The admission fees are: Adults $4.50, Senior Citizens $3.50, 4K-12 Students $2.50. Children under 4 years old are not admitted.

Night-Sky Viewing: Members of the Astronomy Club of Augusta will have a number of telescopes available for use by the public after dark. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to see different telescopes in use and to learn about the models available for amateur astronomers. The Bechtel Telescope in the RPSEC Observatory will also be available for viewing the wonders of the sky.

We would like to give a big thank you to our sponsors: The Astronomy Club of Augusta, the DuPont Planetarium, the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center, and the University of South Carolina Aiken.
