Preparing a Personal Page

In this activity, you will create some pages that will tell other people a little bit about yourself. (Setting up DreamWeaver Site)

Personal Page - Main Page

• You must use the correct file name! Use <namep.html>.
• Include information about yourself.
• Make a link to your hobby page. (see below).
• Make a link to your school's page.
• Make a link to the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center.
• Include at least one graphic.
• Include a background graphic.

End of the page:

• Include the URL and Date at the bottom of the file.
  Use this format -- http://rpsec.usca.edu/Classwork/731X/Personal/Name/Namep.html (Month, Year)
  Example -- http://rpsec.usca.edu/Classwork/731sp2008/Personal/Jones/Jonesp.html (January, 2008)
• Include a disclaimer: "The views expressed on this page are not necessarily those of the University of South Carolina."

Hobby Page - 2nd Page

• The file name is not critical here. For example "Joneshobby.html"
• Include enough information about yourself so that someone can understand who this page is describing.
• Include information about your hobby. Describe the hobby and why you like it.
• Make a link to your personal page. (see above).
• Make a link to three pages related to your hobby. The three pages must come from different servers.
• Include at least one graphic.
• Include a background graphic or change the color of the background so that it is different than the default color.
