Diane Packer

I am a sixth grade science teacher at Guinyard Butler Middle School in Barnwell, South Carolina. This is my fifteenth year of teaching. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in Aiken in 1985, but I did my undergraduate work at a variety of schools. My freshman year was spent at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. I transferred to Lock Haven State College in Pennsylvania to continue my education after getting married. Over the next ten years I took courses at Old Dominion University and USC-Salk. I finally got serious and finish my undergraduate work in the spring of 1985. In 1990 I earned my masters degree in reading education.
