Web Lesson for Kindergarten

We are excited to be reading " The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and learning about life cycles in our kindergarten class at Busbee Elementary School. The attached lesson will help students to understand the life cycle process through pictures, videos, and facts. It will also incorporate math and ELA skills. Have fun!

South Carolina Standards:

Science: K-2.5 Recognize that all organisms go through stages of growth and change called life cycles.

ELA: K5-1.4 Generate a retelling that identifies the characters and the setting in a story and relates the important events in sequential order.

Math: K-2.4 Represent simple joining and separating situations through 10.
