I am an assistant professor of science and technology education at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Prior to coming to USCA, I taught middle and high school science for Brevard County, Florida schools.  At USCA, I involved with the master of education program in educational technology and I devote significant effort at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center (RPSEC).  In my association with the RPSEC I am the Interim Director, Director of the Dupont Planetarium, Manager of the Bechtel Telescope housed in the RPSEC Observatory and Director of the South Carolina Center of Excellence in Educational Technology.  My main areas of interests are with science education and technology integration in the K-12 classroom.  Over the past several years I have concentrated on astronomy education through his involvement with the observatory and planetarium.
