What color is the sky?(Blue)

What color is the sun?(Yellow)

We call these three colors red, blue, and yellow PRIMARY colors. They can not be made from other colors.

Did you know that these three colors Red, Blue, and Yellow make up all the other colors in the world?

When we mix these colors together to make new colors we get something called SECONDARY colors.

Red and Blue make Purple or Violet

Blue and Yellow make Green

Red and Yellow make Orange

TERITARYcolors, are made by mixing a secondary and a primary color together. Here are some examples.

Red and Purple make Magenta

Red and Orange make Tangerine

Blue and Green make Teal
