Planning for College Related Info

I am Sandy DeWitt the Assistant Direcector of Admission at the University of South Carolina Aiken.  This lesson, Required Courses for College Admission, is for the parents of nineth grade students who are planning to go to a four year college or university.  The goal is to provide parents the information they need to help their children prepare for college admission.  This lesson specifically addresses the courses in high school which are required for admission.

The College Board This is the College Board web site.  You can find information about taking the SAT or ACT, how to search for colleges, and how to pay for college.
FinAid! Guide to Financial Aid This site helps students locate sources of funding for college. 
Students.Gov This site provides information from the US government about college planning, funding, etc.
