BECOMING A WORLD POWER
unit will focus on how the United States expanded into a world power in
the first half of the twentieth century.
The students will learn about new inventions, added territories, and domestic problems, such as the Great Depression.
Students will also discover why the United States became involved in World War I and World War II,
and how the wars established the country as a world power.
