Rosita Alston-Grissom


I work at Glenn Hills High School teaching Euclidean Geometry to ninth through twelfth graders. I have been teaching for twenty one years at the same school. I am the assistant department chairperson on our campus. I am the Pay for Performance Grant Writing Team Chairperson. I have taught numerous staff developments including grantwriting, hands on geometry instruction, and TI-92 workshop in geometry instruction. I am the SECME (Science, Engineering, Communications, and Mathematics Enrichment) Coordinator at our school. I was a Richmond County Teacher of the Year Finalist for the 1997-98 School Year. I was honored as a Golden Apple Recepient by WJBF in June of 1998.
