Brenda H. Westbrook

Earth Wormy Forest (EWF)

It has been documented in various research literature that one of the most effective method to increase our students ability in the areas of science and mathematics, will be to involve and expose children at an early age to hands-on manipulatives and exploratory experiments. EWF will bring about the desired changes in behavior and attitude towards problem solving in science and mathematics. Students will use technology in collecting data daily of our environmental resources. In addition, students will develop skills of scientific investigation and learn how the atmosphere, hydrology, soil and land cover measuremwnts are interrelated.
