FAMOUS WOMEN

The purpose of this lesson is to present at least one famous woman for each of the following periods of history (see the Directory for the periods of history) to the students at my middle school in a brief format. At the end of this lesson each student should be able to match each famous woman to her contribution to society. I planned this lesson to use with my library classes which are scheduled through their language arts/reading teachers to come to the library every other week for a brief lesson, check-in and check-out time for books.
