Professional/Personal Interests
Currently, I am teaching Chorus, Band, and Music Appreciation at Fox Creek High School, and I am the director of the youth choir at my church. I am also a graduate student in the Educational Technology program at University of South Carolina Aiken. So far, working with iMovie has been my favorite part of the program. I have always loved to capture footage of everything so it has been very exciting to learn how to edit and enhance footage. I want to become as experienced as I can in this area. I hope to be able to attend a FinalCut Pro workshop this summer. Although teaching and going to school take up a lot of my time, I have many other interests. I love to spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy running, walking, writing songs, writing poetry, singing, playing the piano, listening to music, traveling, shopping, watching movies, relaxing, drinking coffee, talking, and laughing.
Although I have taught for three years and am currenly pursuing a Master's in Education degree, I do not intend to teach forever. My long-term personal and professional goals are to open a coffee shop, find a wonderful husband, have kids, and one day open and be the director of a community theatre.
