Illustrations
Here are a
few samples of my studio art work. As you can see, I favor black
and white renditions,
charcoal, and colored pencils. I have also done some pastel work,
and some watercolor, but I'm
not as used to these..
I became interested
in the human form because it represented a challenge to me. I
couldn't draw
people well, so I set out to learn how. I studied several good
books on anatomy and drawing the
face and joined a life drawing group. I hope you aren't offended
by the human form, but I should
warn you that several of the thumbnails you see of people will
show a nude rendering when
clicked on. I even entered a program at the Medical College of
Georgia for Medical Illustration,
but unfortunately, it is a program requirement that you take gross
anatomy and perform cadaver
dissections. I was not up to that particular challenge.
I enjoy other
drawings as well, so don't let that stop you from contacting me.
